Nestled just a few minutes from the UNESCO‑listed town of  Trogir, Anin Dvor is more than a restaurant—it’s a living celebration of Dalmatian heritage. Housed in a lovingly restored stone farmhouse, our family‑run agroturizam welcomes you to step off the beaten path and into a world where ancient traditions meet warm hospitality.

From the moment you arrive you’ll instantly feel the heartbeat of rural Dalmatia. Sunlight filters through grape-leaf canopies, dappling the old farmhouse walls with gold. Vine-shaded terraces, the gnarled olive trees we stroll beneath, and the sturdy wooden tables where friends and family have gathered for generations.

OUR STORies

A Legacy Carved in Stone

More than 150 years ago, my great-grandfather laid the very first stones of this farmhouse, hand-hewn from the hills of Čarijići. By trade, he was a master mason for the state, shaping rugged limestone into bridges and public buildings—and here on our land, he crafted something far more personal. Under the shade of what would become our pergola, he built a broad stone table, its smooth top worn by generations of family meals and village gatherings. To this day, you can still run your hand along its surface and feel the subtle tool-marks of his craftsmanship, a quiet reminder of the skill and care he poured into every piece of his work.

Ana’s “dvor”

It was my grandmother Ana—“Ana’s Court,” or Anin Dvor—who truly brought life to those stones. Though she couldn’t join the harvest in the fields, her heart was in this home. Each morning, you’d find her on the low bench by the doorway, her kind eyes watching over the children of Čarijići as they tumbled through the vines and olive trees. Under her gentle gaze, the courtyard became a safe haven of laughter and story, where every crumb of freshly baked bread or sip of herbal tea felt like a quiet blessing.

Tradition Lives On

Today, we honor their legacy in everything we do. The stone table—still at the heart of our terraces—hosts long communal meals, just as my great-grandfather intended. And every corner of our courtyard carries the spirit of Ana’s watchful care, inviting you to linger under the vines as the Adriatic breeze drifts by. Here at Anin Dvor, you’re not just a guest—you’re part of a story that began with two remarkable souls, forever etched in stone and memory.
