How it works

Five steps, then the fire

  1. I
    Pick your evening

Date and time. Sittings from 18:00, last at 21:30.

  2. II
    Tell us how many

Adults and children — under-12s are a half portion at half price.

  3. III
    Choose your menu

A set menu priced per person, or any dish on its own. A peka is cooked as one bell for the whole table, so it carries a minimum.

  4. IV
    Leave a name and number

So we can confirm. The rest is optional.

  5. V
    Send your order

Your order is the reservation — we confirm on WhatsApp.

We light the fire — the peka goes into preparation a few hours before you arrive.

The farm

Ana’s courtyard

Sunlight filters through the grape-leaf canopy onto the old farmhouse walls. Anin Dvor — Ana’s courtyard — is a small family farm that opened its gates ten years ago to everyone who wants to eat traditional home cooking under the olive trees, with the sea in view.

More than 100 years ago, a great-grandfather laid the first stones of this farmhouse by hand — a mason by trade, he built the broad stone table that still stands under the pergola. It was his wife Ana who gave the courtyard its name and its warmth, watching over the children from the bench by the door.

We cook the way they always did: slowly, generously, with what the farm, the grove and the morning’s catch give us.

“Ana’s courtyard was always a haven of laughter and story. Now it’s open to whoever finds the way up the hill.”

“Some places serve food. Then there is Anin Dvor, where you feel like you’re visiting old friends you didn’t know you had. The grilled shrimp were the best I’ve had in Croatia — and the people, even better.”

Questions guests ask

Everything is cooked to order from what the farm and the fish market give us that day — nothing sits waiting. Your order tells us what to prepare, so we ask you to book ahead rather than turn you away at the gate.

Meat or octopus with potatoes and vegetables goes under a heavy iron bell, and the bell is buried in embers. It cooks slowly for two to three hours. That is why a peka has to be ordered before you set off.

No. Every main can be ordered on its own — a meat peka is 30 € as the dish, or 54 € as the set menu with a starter, salad and dessert. Take the menu when you want the whole evening handed to you, or the dish when you know exactly what you want.

A peka is cooked as one bell for the whole table, so anything under the bell starts at four people — the vegetable peka and the brujet at two. Everything from the grill and the rest of the kitchen can be ordered for one.

A few hours is usually enough for the grill and the lighter sea menus. For peka, message us in the morning for the same evening if you can — it needs its hours in the embers.

Put Čarijića 115 in Seget Vranjica, about twelve minutes above Trogir. The last stretch is a narrow lane between stone walls — keep going, you are in the right place. Parking is on site.

There is a vegetable peka from two people, and the chickpea pâté starts many a table. Tell us about allergies in the notes when you order and we will cook around them.

Very. Children aged 12 and under are a half portion at half the menu price — add them with the children counter when you order, and we will have a smaller plate ready.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables.
