The farm
Our story
A stonemason’s house, his wife’s name over the gate, and a table that has not moved in over a hundred years.
The house
A mason built it by hand
More than 100 years ago a great-grandfather cut and laid the first stones of this farmhouse himself. He was a mason by trade, and it shows in the things that outlasted him — walls that keep the rooms cool right through August, and the broad stone table under the pergola where guests still eat.
He built it to stand up to weather and to hold a crowd, not to be admired.
The name
Ana gave the courtyard its name
It was his wife Ana who made this place what people remember. She kept the courtyard, and she kept an eye on the children from the bench beside the door. People came up the hill to sit with her.
The welcome she is remembered for is the one thing on this farm we have tried hard not to change.
“Some places serve food. Then there is Anin Dvor, where you feel like you’re visiting old friends you didn’t know you had.”

The kitchen
We cook the way they always did
Slowly, generously, and from what the farm, the grove and the morning’s catch give us that day. The oil is pressed from the trees you sit beneath. The vegetables are picked a few steps away.
Nothing is reheated, which is the whole reason we ask you to order before you come — your order is what we start preparing.
Above Trogir, between the olives and the sea
The farm sits on the hillside above Seget Vranjica, twelve minutes up from Trogir. From the tables you can see the sea glinting between century-old olive trees, and in the evening you hear the cicadas instead of the traffic below.

Bread, oil and garden — ours
We bake the bread, press the oil and pick the vegetables and herbs a few steps from the fire. The rest we choose carefully, and we will gladly tell you at the table where each thing comes from.
